How can they justify 2 centres in the central belt, but none in the oil capital and north of Scotland.

Aberdeen is supposedly a major city but children and their families already have to travel to the central belt for radiotherapy, neurosurgery and for ventilation to name a few. It's ridiculous that the north east does not already have these life saving provisions.

Yet another centralisation plan that has failure written all over it - do we have to go through this process and endure fatalities or loss of quality of life for an accident victim who might have had a better outcome had they not had to endure a transfer to the central belt? Have we learned nothing from the Police Scotland fiasco?

We need a trauma centre to cater for patients further north in Scotland. It doesn't take long to get from Edinburgh to Glasgow or vice versa so why should there be two close together.
