Having experienced superb and rapid service from casualty at ARI a few years ago, when I fell on ice and ruptured knee ligaments, I am horrified to think what would have happened had the trauma centre not been available at that time. Don't close it!

A political decision made with apparent disregard to the impact upon human life. Shameful.

It is essential that services do not all gradually creep down to the Edinburgh and Glasgow areas - there must be top class services for all of us who do not live there as well.

At 78 years of age and living alone, I am appalled at the suggestion that the trauma centre at Aberdeen be moved south. Live up to your promises, politicians.

It would be ridiculous to move this service so far away and would not only mean a loss of jobs but also loss of life

major detriment to acute trauma in NE Scotland currently well managed. We lose this AND has majorimplications for elective surgical services eg neurosurgery thoracic recruitment and training.Central belt in guise of Scottish government don't care

Absolute nonsense to have 2 trauma centres next to each other on the central belt. One further north for northern scotland makes far more sense.

Aberdeen Royal Infirmary should be one of the trauma centres, consider the people further north having to travel to Edinburgh or Glasgow in an emergency.

It is ridiculous to think that the population north of the central belt does not need at least one major trauma centre. Shame on the SNP.

I think for the area that ARI covers it' makes sense to have a truma centre.
why has every thing to go the central belt?
