Need to reconsider. The people around Grampian need to have trauma centre close to them. A 3 or 4 hour travel to Glasgow or Edinburgh is not acceptable.

Absolutely ludicrous to have our county's only two trauma centres in the south of the country. Money rules over common sense

Aberdeen Royal Infirmary should definitely have a major trauma centre. Patients could die waiting to be transferred to Edinburgh or Glasgow.

If there only two trauma centres in the whole of Scotland then one needs to be in the North.

As a senior consultant surgeon who treats acute trauma it does not make clinical sense and does not seem reasonable to disadvantage the trauma care of 25% of Scotland's population by having only 2 major trauma centres in the central belt for Scotland.

It is imperative that a major trauma centre be located in Aberdeen. Not to to so displays a blatant disregard for the people of the North of Scotland and the Northern Isles.
Can't believe it isn't already.
