I work on this site and staff moral is at rock bottom. Already ARI have to send patients down to the central belt separating parents and children. This needs to stop NOW.

Imperative Aberdeen should be made a trauma centre, how close is Glasgow & Edinburgh to the North East of Scotland?

Aberdeen and the North East deserve their own trauma centre. The distance to Edinburgh and Glasgow is far too great for local patients and casualties to travel and will result in avoidable suffering and death.

Centre should be left in Aberdeen it's stupidity to move it to central belt a person from the north east could die before getting there

If the govt go ahead with this about turn, the people north of the central belt would be at a huge disadvantage if they required these services

ARI has become a life line for the Highlands and Islands where some people may not even be able to live long enough to go further south, the majority of Scotland have cover but if a major car accented happened in say the northern isles is it safer to move someone 207 miles or 500 miles

Aberdeen serves a large geographical area. It is essential that it should have a trauma unit to serve the needs of the people who live in the north of Scotland.

If we can only have two trauma centres, why not Inverness & Aberdeen- if its OK to concentrate services in the central belt, then do it here!

Utterly ridiculous proposition. People who live north of Aberdeen would have to go to Edinburgh or Glasgow, depending on bed availability. Typical central belt bias. Has Perth become the Scottish version of the Watford Gap?
