I think its a disgrace they are taking everything away from Aberdeen,nothing seems to exist past Edinburgh and Glasgow. Aberdeen is going to end up a ghost town if we dont stop the goverment from taking everything away from us especially a Trauma unit which is essential to the area.

Absolute disgrace. Aberdeen deserves to have a trauma centre. Shocking that they are even considering to put both centres so near one another (Glasgow and Edinburgh). People will die if this goes ahead. Think again please.

Too far to the Central Belt for major trauma treatment. Can't help but wonder if the current downturn in the oil industry has triggered this. If so, it's disgraceful and very short sighted.

Absolutely ludicrous! Aberdeen is further away from Glasgow and Edinburgh. Why not have Aberdeen and EITHER Glasgow OR Edinburgh?

Sadly I think that there was never any intention to have the trauma centre in Aberdeen. Scotland seems to be only in the central belt. Thought this would change with a Scottish government

I am fed up with everything going to the Central Belt. Aberdeen serves a very wide area, so it is vital we have one of the trauma centres here. Edinburgh and Glasgow are so close together that the only two TCs shouldn't be in both of them.

It would take over 1 hour to transport patients by helicopter what happened to the golden hour.
