Argyll & Bute Council: Build a new concrete skatepark as part of the Helensburgh Pierhead Development.

Getting kids interested in outdoor activities rather than staring at screens all day can be difficult enough without taking away facilities. As such a public skatepark should be considered an important resource .

Please don shut skate area away good time for kid

Over the years a lot of work and effort has gone into keeping this skate park in a usable condition for every skater in the community to use. A&BC have a duty to honour the amount of effort that has out into this assert of our community and to give the skaters of Helensburgh and the surrounding areas a safe haven to skate in and a permanent, weather proof skate park that can be enjoyed and valued for years to come.

The skatepark is well used and provides somewhere teens & kids can have fun. There is nothing else in the town for teens

We need a skate park for all age groups and abilities. Keep the youngster fit and healthy instead of sitting playing computer games and watching TV.

A facility that benefits a wide age group of children. Health and Wellbeing. Even if a charge and supervision was in place as in other well run outdoor skate parks.

Helensburgh needs something for young people, This is not a lot to ask.

A&B Council care nothing about the kids of Helensburgh. £10000 was spent doing the old one up and they just intend on getting rid of it. That's the council for you
