Argyll & Bute Council: Build a new concrete skatepark as part of the Helensburgh Pierhead Development.

My son and daughter love bringing there scooters down here and using the ramps, we talk about childhood obesity, so let’s give the kids a place to be active

I think a new concrete skatepark would be so good for Helensburgh and for kids young and old! Let’s be known for accommodating outdoor activities for all ages!!!

It will be a sad day if they take yet another thing away from the kids. There is nothing for teensagers to go and it would keep them out of trouble by having somewhere to go. Would be better if they could open a teen cafe to help keep up with the upkeep

The kids in Helensburgh need more facilities

I think after the children initially raising the money for the first skate park which was then moved you should defiantly rebuild a better skate park for the children as there is very little for that age group to do in helensburgh and also it is a great form of physical exercise.

The kids using this area have never caused any problems, if we provide a bigger and better skate park then more kids will use it and keep out of trouble. I/we had nothing growing up so I'd like to give today's and tomorrow's youth something that shows them they are valued in their own community.

Im not local. But ive seen what a new skatepark can do for the community. Its rad! X

Please create a concrete skate park for our kids to enjoy. It's a passion so many of our local kids have and would be an asset for them and our town.

there is little enough in-town recreation space for teenagers in our town as it is. Things like skate parks are great for their physical, social and mental well-being.

My sons have used this park many times when we visit friends. It would be a shame to lose it.
