I am regularly phoning for appointments up to 100 times. Very frustrating. Something needs to be done!

The crucial factor is having enough operators to manage an early morning rush. The practice is wrong in causing distress to so many ill patients trying to book an appointment just to cut staffing costs and maximise profits.

I've been trying for 3 days to get an appointment because I need my painkillers my anti-depressants and my asthma pumps to be told there isn't any and to be told nothing can be done till the day after its disgusting the way we are getting treated by them it needs to stop

Awful service, I work full time and cannot just go to the doctors by calling in the morning, in the very rare hope that there is an appointment available. The times i have called were not emergencies so why could they not have a system where you can call and book non emergency appointments for the next day? This would alleviate work issues for non emergency situations and give time for you to advise your employer? The current system is letting down the truly ill by people like myself taking a same day appointment for something that is normally routine!

Have often rang 40+ times before finally being answered to be told appointments have gone. We need a system that we can make non emergency appointments.

Maybe a turn up & wait for emergency appointments in the morning would work? To be able to book an appointment in advance? Txt cancelation service? Txt reminder service if pre booked appointments we're in place? To have a better call answering service at peak times & to put you in a que when you ring in with your number in the que instead of having to call back time & time again. It is an absolute shambles at present & is putting lives at risk as well as putting pressure on other services such as a&e.

This system is obviously not working and you should be embarrassed and ashamed that you cannot see this.

Drop in centre every morning and evening for urgent same day consultations. Appointments for routine check ups.

trying to get through at 8 in the morning for an appointment is a nightmare. Then to be kept on the line listening to the same annoying song for 15-20 mins to then be told all appointments for the day have gone is ridiculous. If you could make appointments later in day for non urgent appointments surely that would make this easier.

System is terrible, cant see why they cant book you in for the following day, but leaving slots for emergencies. Surely this would ease pressure on receptionists ad make it easier to get through on the phone.
