I know the problem is not unique to this surgery but I also know from personal experience how frustrating it can be to try & get an appointment. A fortnight ago, it took two days to get an appointment for my daughter. I don't use the GP very often when I do it's necessary - I've tried other treatments available. On the occasions I have tried to book appointments it has been difficult. On one occasion I suffered a severe vertigo attack in work ( mid day after the appointment booking system had closed), it was a Friday at the start of a bank holiday weekend - I needed prescription medicines but was told there would be no appointments available until the Tuesday. I managed to get an emergency appointment that evening by phoning the local Health Board. I could theoretically have gone to A & E in Withybush but was incapable of driving & had no one to drive me.

Diabolical service. I've not used the surgery for many years, But have had to use it more frequently in the last few months and is getting worse and worse to get an appointment.

I hate the fact that if you work there is no leway for you to book appointments if you need an appointment phone 8am and to find out engaged straight away in sick of it takes me 20 mins sometimes and still no joy

I totally agree that the present system is inadequate. We should be able To make an appointment in advance at reception. Also be able to make a follow up appointment at reception when a doctor has asked to see you in a set period of time. I also think that they should reintroduce the emergency walk in system that used to be available at the law street practice

It seems impossible to arrange a non-urgent appointment in advance. At 8:00, I have to compete with other patients with more severe reasons to see doctors when I would be satisfied to book a consultation at any time convenient with the doctor at any future date..

i was with argyle for a year or so, we've moved to Milford haven, now with Robert street parctice in the Manchester square health centre. Never any problems! We can book appointments in advance and can call first thing with usually 3/4 tries maximum and through with an app.

I really don't understand why this system is allowed to continue. I'm sure the surgery must be aware of how dreadful it is, and how annoyed the patients are. What's wrong with saying 'we got it wrong, and need to look at this again' ?

I feel there should be a walk in appointment system for people that don't have phones and need to talk to staff face to face. I had to call for a friend that was very depressed and was told to call in the morning explained they had no phone they ask for me to call on there behalf. After explaining my concerns they agreed to see them. This needs to change.
