Argyle Doctors Surgery change your telephone system for appointments

Doctors surgery is bloody useless keep turning me away every single time last time I went down there with a severe infection because of them I ended up in hospital for over a week and then a month later I had to help the infection surgically removed tried to report them but they all work together I tried saying it wasn't there fault and before that I almost went death because they refused to see me

About time the system was changed, absolutely disgusting.

Have walk in appointments .The telephone appointment system is a scandal some older people will give up and they could die!

I'm fortunate that I haven't needed to see Dr very often however there have been times I have needed to and phoned only to find all appointments gone by 8.15 !! I work shifts and it's hard enough to get appointment around time off .

I tried yesterday to go appointment and was told I could have one in neyland and I live in hundleton , I told them to for get it , so ater on in the day I phoned agai and I was told I could have appointment at 4pm in pembrokdock ,I sign my name I an waited at 4.20 still haven't been called in , I went up to the desk only to be told that it never sign me in, she said she would phone the doctor to say I was there, olny to be told he had gone home I had to wait another half hour to see a nurse, altogether I was at the doctors form 3.54 to 5.20

Phone system is bloody ridiculous can never get through and when you do the appointments have gone!! Rather the old way at least you seen the doctor when you was ill !!!

Please something needs to change it can't keep going like it is..... Over 100 calls one day to be told there were no more appointment available and it was only 9.10am ..... I started ringing at 8am..... With 2 young children and a disabled husband I need the service to work correctly . it's very rear we need to see a doctor but when we do we are unable to see one ...... Please look at your system and hope you find a better way to help

Surgery should be open on weekends as well. Why should patients have to suffer because GPs don't want to work evenings and weekends!

It's a must your system is the worst ever give us online booking it's what's needed as we can book ahead ice tried for two weeks to see a doctor and just keep getting told no appointments left this is ringing from 8am

It's ridiculous, I work 9-5.30 Monday to Friday so often can't get an appointment and am told to tell the receptionist what is wrong with me if I need a sit in appointment after work.... I don't want to tell a receptionist what my problem is

It would be nice to be able to book an non emergency appointment in advance. As a shift worker it would suit me far more than having to try and phone at eight in the morning

They should have it like the old days. No phone calls for appointments but first come first served!

I am moving back home to Pembroke soon and dreading having to deal with this just to see a GP on the very rare occasion that I need to.

Signed. Unacceptable that you can only book an appointment on the same day, and not in advance. By the time you get through, all appointments are gone, and you cannot book for the following day. You have to go through it all over again and hope you are lucky.

Last time I needed appointment, I couldn't get through till 8.45 after redialling hundreds of times. No dr left and was told quite shirtily that it wasn't their fault. I should have phoned at 8!!!! I started phoning before 8

here in Aberaeron,our doctors still have a walk-in morning surgery and an appointment only afternoon surgery. Problem solved: if you have all morning to sit and wait [it's normally pretty well cleared by 1130...] door opens by 0830, queue starts at 0800 best to stay well if you can Oh, and pleasant, helpful staff. altogether a helpful welcoming practice
