Gets you to the point of rather suffer than ring for an appointment it's rediculous and when you get through its like an interrogation. Didn't realise that the receptionists were medically trained to make decisions on appointments!!

totally ridiculous system. nighmare for everyone. down right dangerous for the elderly or challenged . an hour redialling nowadays and then to be told sorry all gone. EVERY TIME !!!... a friend with a punctured lung was told no chance so paramedics had to be called out when she should have been able to have a home visit...so,999 calls the only option ??? or move to another surgery ??? please, what is going on ?

Appointment lines open a 8am and I have to be out the house at 8.15 to go to work, so there is now way I can arrange an oppintment. I need go book one now but never can, my husband is in the same boat.

My mum redialled 152 times to get an appointment after she had been trying to get one all week and we still waited over an hour to actually be seen by the doctor

When attempting to book an appointment we are requested to phone from 8am onwards this results in the one!!!!line being continuously being engaged I personally have had to keep trying to make contact for 45minutes before successfully getting a reply only to be told that all appointments for the day had been taken really not good enough is it !!!!!!!

The appointments system provides a very poor service, long waiting times on call and lack of suitable appointments. Similarly being told to only ring at certain times of day for some services (eg repeat prescriptions) is archaic. The system needs an overhaul so it provides better, more responsive customer service.

System is rubbish and there are no doctors to accommodate demand they are using nurse practitioners to cope.

The other day I made 30 calls which took 26 minutes before it finally went through then I waited 8 more minutes before it actually rang, it then rang for 2 and a half minutes before someone spoke to me and told me no appointments left I was in pain and needed an appointment this is really unacceptable.

They tell you to ring at 8am, but when you eventually get through waiting sometimes 45mins, to be told all appointments have gone, so frustrating. Why haven't they got more telephone lines going into the Surgery.
