Argyle Doctors Surgery change your telephone system for appointments

Trying to see a DR is such a stressful experience half the time you just give up! It is ludicrous that you can't be seen by the same Dr twice in a row, how are they supposed to assess whether a patient has improved or deteriorated !

its not only trying to get an appointment thats the problem trying to get pass the interrogation from the receptionists are just as bad if and when you do get through makes me wonder who are the medically trained the Drs or receptionists

Ludicrous system as it stands

the out of hours service is much easier to use so use this service when possible

A ludicrous system. We don't all need urgent appointments so should be able to book with a doctor of our choice for a future date.

Current system is not a service, very difficult for working people and parents

This certainly needs looking at !!!!!!

I'm really worried about my health at th moment, but as I work, I have to leave by 8.15 and can never get through to make an appointment by that time.

The system is a nightmare , i personly don't go to the doctors for myself unless I really really have to but for my kids it's different and it's always a nightmare to get through!definitely needs to be changed x

I also often think why can't i make an appointment for the following day?

Hope this will make them change.

There have to be changes made. It's not a fair system at all

I agree with all that has been said there are 4 people in my house that have life long illnesses and need to see a doctor when we ring but sadly very rarely get to see who we need to.

thats why i stay away from there,

Although I have had good service having had cancer diagnosed but I do feel that the service could improve for simple appointments.

I'm always struggling to get appointments and I have to phone from a mobile to which costs a lot of money

Ridiculous way to try to make an appointment. I tried to make one the other day and I had to hit the redial button over 130 times. I gave up in the end but then ended up in hospital a couple of days later!!!!!!!!! Say no more.

Awful system. I gave up trying to get an appointment in the end. Luckily it wasn't anything urgent

I'm lucky in that I don't suffer from ill health.............howerver if I have needed the services of a Dr...................trying to get through to the surgery is horrid!! If I were elderly and timid...i'd never get an appointment
