I live under the intended flight path. I deplore what the reopening of manston will do to the environment. I really don’t want the airport to reopen and believe that it if it goes ahead, it will knock the area backwards.

Unbelievable. This would be a disaster for residents. A life ruining project to benefit the few at the health and well-being of the majority.

Maybe it is time for a freight plane (747) to fly on the the proposed flight paths so that residents can experience what may be to come! The aircraft does not have to land, it can perform an emergency bypass as it approaches the runway. This would be a great way for Riveroak to demonstrate how much a 747 flying a few hundred feet over Ramsgate (at over 100 decibels) will affect the residents.

This freight hub proposal is an environmental crime and as the government’s own planning inspector ruled after 2 years of consultation it is not viable

I am considering moving out if the area. There is talk of imports but no mention of exports, surely the planes won’t leave empty.
