Hoping the Judicial Review will be granted and the inspectors' recommendation will be accepted - that a cargo hub should not be built at Manston. But if it is allowed to go ahead, every effort must be made to mitigate the appalling damage the airport would cause.

No to more pollution. We should be cutting aircraft emissions, not increasing them.

I already have a noisy groundworks company operating 100m from my back garden, but to have this as well is unbeatable and very unfair that people are not being informef

The whole concept of the airport is a commercial and environmental suicide.

Noise pollution from Manston Airport would devastate East Kent's economy to a far greater extent than any economic benefits.

This will have a major impact on everyone living in this part of East Kent, it’s shocking to learn that despite the recommendations, a handful of people still think this is a good idea versus the many of lives that this will ruin - and all for ‘consumerism’. Freight cargo planes to serve the growing number of people ordering online to dump more products from overseas into our country, and the route ‘in’ is to be alongside outstanding natural beauty? What happened to the concept of Kent being the garden of England? The number of people that are now working from home is rising given that many businesses are letting staff work from home full time, and this is evidenced by the significant increases in the interest from those that live in noisy cities looking to move out to the countryside and beautiful British coast in their droves will likely result in nobody wanting to move to Thanet. There’s evidence that working from home is already seeing a reinvigoration of local high streets and communities - but who wants to live in a polluted noisy location that serves nobody except the people that make money from shipping more and more stuff into the U.K. I haven’t event got onto the environmental impacts from pollution or noise! I would have through that coronavirus would have an impact on everyone in reconsidering the important things in life and as we step into a post-Brexit UK that we would want to create a beautiful U.K. that respects its citizens lives and health. How this got signed off is a mystery. It is not needed and will have a negative impact, because nobody will want to come to West Kent if it simply becomes a noisy polluting hub - you might as well rename it Amazonville if this actually happens - which I hope it doesn’t.

We live under the flight path and with the constant noise of low flying aircraft, and the pollution they expel, we are in for a living hell if this goes ahead. Surely this is madness!

The cargo hub will set back any development of ramsgate as a tourist destination apart from the negative impact on quality of life for residents

The opening of Manston Airport is totally unacceptable. Living directly under the flight path will make our lives a living hell!!

Whilst I am generally supportive of the reintroduction of Manston as a functioning airport I am deeply concerned about the volume of flights planned especially at night. I would support further public consultation on the matter and would like to see the issue resolved amicably. Currently I feel that this is being forced upon the residents of nearby towns without any consideration for the impact on health and quality of life of those effected.

Please do not allow air plane noise and pollution to affect where we live in BIrchington. We are already having to contend with a huge amount of new housing being built

In August 2019 Ramsgate was selected as 1 of 50 UK towns to benefit from the £1 billion Future High Streets Fund announced by the Prime Minister Boris Johnson. The local agencies involved in regeneration were granted £150k to prepare and submit proposals for funding. Craig McKinlay MP for Thanet South claimed he was "delighted" and stated it will "keep the high street at the beating heart of the community" . The PM said "our high streets are right at the heart of our communities - I will do everything I can to make sure they remain vibrant places where people want to meet and spend their money". In July 2020 RiverOak Strategic Partners (RSP) Development Consent Order application to convert Manston Airport to a major air freight hub was granted despite the Examining Authority's recommendation to refuse permission as RSP's case failed against the vast majority of the criteria required for approval of the DCO. Personally I can't see how low flying freight aircraft above Ramsgate every 10 minutes is conducive to a vibrant town and I doubt that many others could either. Yet Mr McKinlay has made no secret of his support for RSP. Perhaps Mr. McKinlay could establish the PM's view at PMQs? Though on second thoughts this would only offer further opportunities for more meaningless platitudes. Please support the petition for a judicial review if you haven't done so already.

When Cargolux was at Manston as planes flew over our house it rattled and you couldn’t hear yourself speak. Very frightening and very polluting .This should not be allowed to happen again.

This airport has always failed. the person involved now was the same person involved when wiggins (plane station) failed. My business worked for all the owners including MOD, every business has failed taking local firms for thousands, including mine, why do they think it will work now?

cargo traffic will have a significant impact on the hundreds of thousands of residents living in the area around Manston. It is wrong that the flightpath consultation is being conducted without full disclosure.

Ramsgate the only royal harbour in the country. Government says Manston not needed . Protect pegwell Bird sanctuary. Develop.thanet as holiday destination especially now in wake of COVID19
