This is outrageous. If Covid is with us for a decade, the potential impact of the pollution on respiratory health will exacerbate covid deaths under the flightpath.

UK does not need this extra freight hub. Use the existing capacity and concentrate again more on local products!

Flight paths over a quiet residential property, noise pollution, air pollution. This I am sure has not been taken into account. If it has not seriously, many properties were purchased when it was an RAF Manston which was acceptable but a 24hour freight hub.

I am against this airport as there are other airports with plenty of cargo space - the airport proposed at Manston is not needed.

If this goes ahead, it is not just the human population it affects, there are 2 important wildlife conservation reserves nearby, Pegwell Bay and Sandwich Nature Reserve

This is disgraceful and cannot be allowed to happen.

We need housing and jobs. Every scheme for aircraft in the past has eventually failed. Noise levels will be unacceptable.

Roger Gale has let his constituents down massively... disgraceful considering he expressed concerns for his grandsons wellbeing & health, re. the Heathrow saga.. He can’t have one viewpoint to suit his own family, and a completely different viewpoint when he concerns thousands of other folks & their children

I’m an asthmatic and work from home as a musician. A flight path over my property in Margate would severely impact my health, well being and profession.

No thanks... it's a bit like moving next to a closed down corner shop. You'd have to be aware that it might reopen at some point, but you'd never think it was going to turn into Westwood sodding Cross.
Roger Gale is a disgrace.

I live in Herne Bay and I do believe one the routes is directly over my home. This comes from past experience when the occasional plane flew over into Manston
One point I'd like to make is I hope the developers are going to set aside money for residents applying for double glazed windows (if they haven't got it ) and in my case secondary units because of my residence is an old Victorian house within a conservation area and the council will not allow the installation of double glazed units . If of course all this goes forward, hopefully not.

I would welcome charter flights, creating jobs and connectivity, but freight will fly in fly out, with no benefits or little for Thanet's economy and increfibly negative gir our environment.

The whole matter is an absolute disgrace. What is Gale thinking of. Why should residents put up with aircraft flying low over their homes & businesses for an airport that is doomed to fail overseen by a known fraudster who has overseen multiple airport failures including Manston. If this was Gatwick or Heathrow this would not even need a petition.

We don’t need a cargo hub like this. Perhaps one of the London airports will have capacity now that many airlines are reducing their capacity. Housing is desperately needed on Thanet needed on the area this should be the top priority. Plus the ecological and environmental damage to the are when you include the uplift in freight traffic from the airport and on to the M2 will be significant.
