I live in Broadstairs and am in need of a calm environment because of chronic health problems.

Not just a devastation on homeowners with a drop in prices, but I can't imagine tourists will want to continue holidaying in areas with ten low planes an hour flying over. It could devastate people's sleep, their physical health, interfere with their right to peaceful enjoyment of their home, destroy tourism which would decrease jobs-not make more, and I can't even begin to imagine the effect on birds and other wildlife. Will they provide air purification systems for people's homes? Provide the best noise insulation for tens of thousands of homes and replace all their windows to keep the noise out? It's not even a small area of impact-it's an entire chunk of East Kent. American investors don't care what they destroy to make money. They don't have to live under it all and suffer the consequences. Don't let them destroy huge chunks of the UK to line their own coffers.

Are residents in Ramsgate directly under Manston Airport flight path totally ignored regarding the obvious inviable and immoral unlivable noise pollution devaluing property and standard, quality of life?

What a brutal, destructive plan for such a beautiful and environmentally precious area! Simply outrageous!

I was planning to move to Westgate and make a home there but sadly have to rethink this, if what is reported here is true. Very sad for everyone who wants clean air. I have asthma and this is extremely worrying for me.

With the destruction of farm land and the development surrounding this airport, re-open should not be supported. This is the next scandal waiting to happen!! Build houses here and not on our farms

Very concerned about noise and pollution and failure to set clear flight paths out and limit numbers of flights more especially at night. Pollution will be a serious health issue in an area where hospital provision is poor and insufficient.

Lack of information on take off and landing routes is disturbing to say the least.

More damage to come, more people upset and a decline in wildlife a definite. Greedy thoughtless people at the top.

I strongly oppose any development and use of manston for commercial cargo flights.

Manston could have been used for many more desireable projects for the local community.

Totally opposed to this nightmare of an airport If the government planning expert says its not needed and we were not consulted WHO made the decision if labour says NO ILL VOTE FOR THEM and ignore the worst that they bring for NO Airport

This will ruin tourism in the area and negatively affect the lives of those living here.
