It’s not needed, unnecessarily impacting huge numbers of people. Maybe one day when planes are less polluting and noisy we should be considering new airports but until then they should not be afforded such luxury

Thank you for highlighting this it would be a nightmare for the people of Ramsgate and they are building so many houses near the airport and not telling anyone

This fantasy project is run by a dodgy outfit with unknown investors, no business plan and with a dozen reports saying it’s not needed and is frustratingly holding back Thanet.

I dread living under the flight path. This won’t boast our economy but will polite our air and skies.

I’ve only just moved to Ramsgate and had no idea there were thoughts of reopening an airport nearby. Having lived near Heathrow all my life (planes at 4k altitude) I’ve not enjoyed that noise and moved to Thanet for peace and quiet in my retirement. The thought of planes overhead at just 2 miles out which will be sub 1k I imagine is untenable. So I guess I’d be moving again if that happened. I can’t begin to imagine the noise and pollution devastation to this area. You’d lose your tourism, who’d want to spend their summer under low flying planes?

I lived under the flight path previously and I don't want the air and noise pollution again. We don't have the infrastructure to support the extra traffic associated with the reopening of Manston.

We live in St lawrance, so right on the flightpath, it was bad enough years ago when we only had a few flights, god knows what it will be like with the amount of flights they are planning. Lets hope it will come to nothing as most Thanet plans do.

I moved to Ramsgate a couple of years ago. At no point was i made aware Manston was looking to reopen. If I had been I would not have moved here. There are plenty of other airports in the UK. Opening Manston will cause excessive pollution from planes and lorries transporting goods to & from the airport. Not to mention the excessive noise. I oppose the reopening of Manston.

I withdrew from buying a house at Ash because of uncertainty about future aircraft noise. Sadly those living in this area will likely find their homes unsaleable until it is clear where the flight paths will be.

Please stop the airport . I really dread the noise pollution.Planes will harm the environment. I suffer from tinnitus and anxiety. Even now my mobile cuts out when a plane goes over here. I depend on my mobile for all Internet and phone calls.

How are they allowed to fly over a heavy populated area

I live in Monkton and remember the cargo Jumbos taking off in a westerly direction and turning south when still at low altitude. With the increase in movements it would be sheer hell.
