Unbelievable that this is even allowed to go ahead after the inspector ruled against it.

We experienced it many years ago,its not something you would wish for.The thought of aircraft ripping through our peaceful communities late at night, keeping the windows closed again. If the planes don't disturb you then you can be certain the lorries will.

This is a holiday resort which has become popular again in the last few years. Heavy lorries and planes polluting the air and the unacceptable noice pollution will kill this for the Kent people and will spoil what is one of the most attractive sea side resorts in England.

this is an out rage, we don,t need or want this airport open for cargo. 10 flights an hour 24/7 . all that pollution, noise,

Given that historic data exists, why are we having this foisted on us without proper noise pollution monitoring?

No one wants a cargo hub on their doorstep. Just a shame that our two MPs don't live locally so couldn't care less about Ramsgate or the people who live there. Decision to grant the DCO goes against inspectors recommendations, climate needs and common sense.

The noise over my house was deafening it felt like the planes were going to land on my roof. I’m all for progress but it didn’t work as an airport. Let the build the much needed houses and leisure facilities they wanted to build. This would create far more jobs for the area. Over 1000 I believe they said. No to the noisy planes. Sorry

We need to understand the impacts of the proposed flight paths and the flight timing restrictions as soon as possible.

Completely nuts, how are we going to reach the climate change targets with further unnecessary airport expansion such as this?

Reopening Manston is a disaster for Ramsgate - it will kill the quality of life for its residents and destroy its regeneration.

I object to this planning decision that was made with disregard for expert recommendation, and community opposition. Planning decisions should consider public health and the environment, and anyway it is not economically viable and will damage the tourism and hospitality trade. I, and many many others in Thanet, are confused and worried about this decision.
