10 flights an hour is way too many. Also night flights should not be allowed

I am in Ramsgate and knew nothing of this until an offer on my house was withdrawn due to these proposals

this is a backward step and will mean few new jobs. The land at Manston is valuable and could be put to much better use to benefit our community. Other airports around the UK are much better placed to handle freight and have the capacity

We need less less aviation, not more pollution and noise.

It was a nightmare having aircraft flying over on final approach at a few hundred feet & reduced house values in the area.

Manston airport has not been successful since the RAF moved out. I worked in the travel business and could not get anyone to book. Its in the wrong place and not easily accessible. As for it being a cargo airport both East Midlands and Heathrow airports have enough take off slots to cope and they can undercut any price Manston offers. Also it has always been in the wrong place, too far out of from large towns and the road system leaving the airport is appalling. I thought this country is supposed to be cutting down on pollution, doesn't sound like it!

This will ruin the lives of virtually the whole of Thanet. It must be stopped

I don’t want the fumes, the noise, the extra lorries on the road with their fumes, we are right under the flight path. We love our peaceful life and it will be destroyed. It’s out on a limb and has failed several times before, why would you want to send cargo down the Thanet away , when it would be right on a motorway at Gatwick. Crazy idea. One of the owners already has 9 failed businesses behind him. What a waste of money.

We need significantly less plane movements not more.

We don't need another airport when Gatwick and Heathrow have so many slots to fill. It will bring uneccesary noise and pollution to the surrounding area too.

There is no need for another airport when the existing ones are not being used to capacity. No one knows if they will ever be after the virus and the Green measures that must be taken.

Recently moved away from Heathrow for peace and quiet and fresh air. Is it absolutely necessary.?

So far not been consulted on flight path plans so have no idea how we will be effected, but if like last time it was a nightmare noise and smell I don't want to go back to that.We were told at that time it would not be over us ,but it was nearly everyday. We need to to have meetings with these people they cannot be allowed to think they can run rough shod over us as if we dont matter.I live in Bishopstone,Herne Bay.

This proposal is a terrible idea environmentally - we should be encouraging and supporting more use of boat and rail transport for freight ( and indeed humans). Planes flying low over Ramsgate and Herne Bay will pollute the towns with emissions and noise. Say no!

I am not aware that people In Canterbury or surrounding areas have been consulted over proposed flight paths.
