First and foremost this is about future public health in East Kent. Who wants to needlessly poison their own children, grandchildren, etc on the flimsy, expertly debunked, promise of possible jobs, by demonstrably false prophets like Grant Shapps MP (SoS)?

This is really flogging a dead horse, provides no benefit to the local economy, but causes major disruption. Considering that Ramsgate is a potential for the 'Free Port Plan', that makes far more sense to concentrate on, because anyone who knows anything about logistics, you don't use airfreight due to the higher cost. It's basic economic competence and why it always fails. I'd also rather climate change wasn't used as a reason, because there is no actual science behind that claim, so just stick with facts and leave the rhetoric to the other side.

I feel there has not been enough consultation on this process and I have not been contacted directly by the developers for my views on this. Also the first I heard about this was in the local news paper and was quite surprised to see it is an given’?. There definitely has been a lack of transparency in this matter. These consultations have been conducted under closed doors. This is unacceptable.

Pollution and noise under the flight paths especially in Ramsgate which should be developed as a heritage site including the Royal harbor.

This will add nothing to our historic town but noise nuisance and pollution. We don’t want it.

Please do not destroy the local area. Wildlife and children’s habitat and health should be a priority. The road infrastructure would not cope. Why not use the site for much needed new housing?

I live in the flight path on the Nethercourt Estate & have experienced aircraft pollution in the past. I suffer with asthma an I am VERY concerned by the potential number of daily flights & the increase in pollution levels and noise pollution. The road infrastructure is not capable of coping with the hugely increased levels of lorries distributing the cargo. An airport more central in the UK Would make far more sense.

You leaflet tells us to contact our local councillor, what a pointless exercise.

We were mostly definitely not consulted. The first we heard of this was local news on TV.
