Arabs have a fascinating and valuable culture and history that CA students will benefit from learning.

This is a choice for a better future for ALL of us.

I totally support the continued inclusion of Arab Studies in the Ethnic Studies K-12 curriculum. Children of Arab Middle Eastern Diaspora families need to see themselves and their families' and ancestral histories represented.

Ethnic studies must include all cultures, especially those that are living under oppression.

It's right now we need to learn about each other more than ever: include Arab, Central American and Pacific Islander studies in the Ethnic Studies Model Curriculum

I'm a Jewish graduate of CCSF, AA in 1960 and hope that Arab Studiies in CA's new K-12 Curriculum is provided for all students who want to take the classes. Our society needs for students to learn to see other people as themselves.

Let us give accurate and credible knowledge to our next generation so they know the facts and become real leaders of our future. Teach them the truth for the love of God and our nation!

Arab studies is crucial for our students learning about the world. Given the US's historic role in invading the Middle East and targeting Arab peoples, the various and thriving Arab American communities here, and the incredibly Islamophobic and anti-Arab culture put forward by mainstream society, Arab studies is CRUCIAL to a real understanding of the world. Arab stories and lives matter. As a Jewish American, I demand that Arab stories, histories, and ways of knowing are not censored. I am especially against the misuse of "antisemitism" to attack and censor Arab Studies, as many people who support Israel fear Palestinian narratives being told. Palestinian stories and resistance are so important and have so much to teach our students. As a SFUSD public K-12 student, I would have greatly benefitted from receiving Arab Studies education throughout the years.

As a an informed society, America needs to learn about all of the different nationalities that make up our country.

Very important for cultural understanding.
