The language being used against our forces in the halls of Congress has finally shifted. It has been a long and draining struggle to get to this point, but I am grateful that our dignity is being respected at last. We will keep watching to ensure this rhetoric does not …
As a patriotic American proud to serve the nation in uniform and place my life on the line in defense of freedom, I respectfully urge my political leaders in Congress to unconditionally support all American military forces and to cease denigrating us by comparing us with Nazis and followers of Pol Pot and calling us murderers. I further respectfully urge my political leaders in Congress not to abandon the Iraqi people as we so shamefully abandoned the South Vietnamese. The time for all Americans to pull together, take a stand for freedom and support us in the war on terror is long overdue.
Reaching this level of visibility feels heavy because it proves how many people feel the same burden of frustration we do. It has been a long road but seeing this many names gathered reminds me why I started this fight in the first place.

Disgraceful that anyone would compare our brave soldiers to nazis. TRULY DISGUSTING. They put their lives on the line for this country every single day.

We cannot leave Iraq behind like we did in 1975. Those guys deserve better than a bunch of politicians talkin down to them from behind a desk.

I am sick of the media and the politicians acting like our boys are the villains. They are fighting terror so we dont have to worry here at home. God bless them all.
