Approve the Liquor License Application for The Girl and the Vine

I live on Takoma Avenue, and I look forward to supporting The Girl and the Vine! I enthusiastically sign this petition.

I suppose this application. We need more places like this in Takoma Park, and the owner appears to be taking all the steps necessary to meet local community concerns. Please approve this request.

I'm a nearby neighbor on Poplar Ave. and I look forward to being able to walk to the Girl and the Vine with my family for food and drink.

I live down the street from this location and I strongly support the license for The Girl and The Vine. This location is a central gathering spot for families in the neighborhood. This business will be an added benefit to the community of Takoma Park.

Much better for a locally-owned restaurant go in than for the building to stand unused.

As a new parent, I greatly welcome this addition to Takoma Park. The location has more space than many other Takoma Park restaurants, which will be helpful for parents of young children with all the gear we lug around. Also, having more dining choices directly in Takoma allows us to stay close to home on date nights to get a drink if we have family/friends/sitters watching our child.

This would be a welcome addition to the community.

I think it is a great addition to the neighborhood. Perhaps limiting the service of alcohol till 10pm during the week and 11pm on the weekend might be one compromise.
