I loved Capital City Cheesecake and was sad to see it go but glad to hear of the potential arrival of the Girl and the Vine. Welcome the addition of a locally owned business focused on quality, a mix of good beverages and sandwiches(!) - with experience in creating great communal spaces. I strongly support their application and hope they arrive soon in TKPK.

A food and wine bar at the 7071 Carroll Avenue location would be a great addition to the Takoma Park community, and I see no reason why this small business should be denied a liquor license when the community broadly supports the inclusion of restaurants that sell liquor.
