Final supporters
Who doesn't love an awesome Ingress Mission Series? And where could you find a better location for one than historic Sleepy Hollow? The sister villages of Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow burst at the seams with history and art, and boast over 100 portals. Easily accessible by train from NYC and at the crossroads of every major highway, we are the ultimate suburban destination for incredibly fun and rewarding Ingress gameplay.
And so with this in mind, we submitted a 30-part MIssion Series featuring an amazing piece of artwork depicting the iconic "Headless Horseman".
Half of the series was approved. The second half rejected on copyright grounds. And then rejected again. And again. BUT...*we have permission from the artist / copyright holder*, Bob Kehl. Repeat: WE HAVE PERMISSION, IN WRITING!. And yet, there is no way to note this during mission submission, and any sort of appeal to Niantic gets quickly lost in one of their many seemingly endless queues. We love Niantic and forgive them like we would family, but that doesn't lessen the extreme tragedy of the constant unjust rejection.
A rejection which is punctuated by weekly inquiries from Agents all over the region asking "Is it approved yet". No. No it is not approved.
But we will not give up! This Mission Series is too rad to abandon. And so, please add your support to this petition, in the hopes that it will get the attention of our friends at Niantic.

Come on, Niantic! The mission originator has obtained WRITTEN PERMISSION to use the artwork for the mission mosaic FROM THE ARTIST. We want this mission series! Use your brains and approve this, please
What's the problem?They have permission of the artist. It's half approved...please approve do wet can start enjoying it!
I don't understand why this has not gone threw but if they HAVE permission to use the picture why is this not approved! And why approve half of it and not the other?
This is a beautiful piece of artwork that should be included as part of ingress. Wes dedicated a lot of time and effort into this incredible mission series and it would be great for it to be part of our game
If they have the rights to use the image I don't see any reason why this series couldn't be approved. Common Niantic please review and reconsider. :)

If you have permission in writing, you should be able to use it. Shouldnt ban 18+ missions at all and definitely not ones submitted before the change!

Permission from the artist is not a copyright issue. Please approve this mission for all to enjoy. It's a beautiful local mosaic!
