Apple, please bring back Home Sharing to my iPads and iPhones! When you introduced Home Sharing you touted it as being the digital hub for home music and entertainment. I've spent years organizing my music library in order to be able to stream my music throughout my home on my IOS devices. The unannounced removal is unacceptable and a paid subscription to iTunes Match or Apple Music is not an acceptable alternative. Please return the Home Sharing function to IOS. I would never have updated my devices had I known the update would make them less functional. I've been a Mac owner for decades and this is how I'm rewarded? Not a good way to treat your loyal customers.

Dear Apple, Please reinstate HomeSharing as I have relied on HomeSharing for home media distribution for many years. It has been a key reason for my continued investment in Apple tech, without it the draw to Samsung is only increased.

Home Sharing was a great feature. Why remove it? It was one of the reasons we bought iPads and iPhones instead of Android.

I use home sharing because of my classical music collection. It's not all available an I listen to it lossless. I also don't have unlimited data plan. Please give me back audio home sharing!

If intended to be permanent, this change makes little sense, especially for music I own and given the availability of third-party software that offers the same functionality. Being this back to iOS.

Its some serious BS that Apple took away my home sharing just so they could try and make proud iOS device owners like me pay through the roof just so I don't have to lug around my heavy ass laptop with earphones to be able to listen to my music. MY MUSIC! ON MY INTERNET CONNECTION! YOU SLEASY, DREAM CRUSHING, DILDO PUMPING-MOTHER-FUCKERS!!! BURN IN HELLLLLL!!

Since I will never subscribe to Apple music, by doing this Apple takes away half the functionality of my iOS devices...

We have 8 Apple devices in the house and a large music library what I organised for all of the family so I don't want to do again also some of the units have limited space (16gb iphone have 12gb) so why I have to keep the same tunes on all of my devices now if I want to listen in the bathroom or in the kitchen??

This is an essential infrastructure feature in iTunes and in the i-devices. Apple's slogan for Apple Music is "All the ways you love music", but the iOS Music App now actually CUTS OFF one of my favourite ways to love my music! I have no interest in making my music listening dependent on external servers and extra paid subscriptions (for music I had already paid for when I bought it!) when I've got it all on my own Mac right here. I'll keep buying music and using it as I see fit, and Home Sharing was and is one of my favourit ways to do exactly that. Killing an essential feature such as this especially from all newer devices (my old iPhone 3GS can still use it!)) is a shot fired into Apple's own foot from this user's point of view. Similar to not wanting to pay artists during the Apple Music trial period and to the initial removal of local syncing in Yosemite Apple needs to reconsider its stance here – we're paying handsomely for excellent devices and excellent functionalities on those. Especially with the big claim that "Apple loves Music" and their claimed care about their users' enjoyment of their products it's now time for actually walking the walk.

Bring homesharing back!!! You cannot remove features without any compensation. I do not intend to sign in a streaming service. I hope that was just a bug: https://developer.apple.com/library/prerelease/ios/releasenotes/General/RN-iOSSDK-8.4/

I have all of my music stored on my Mac , I stream it to my iPad/ iPhone AirPlay enabled devices using home sharing. I am not prepared to pay $15 a month to stream apple music, I have all the music I ever wanted and will purchase all the music I ever need. I bought my apple devices with the sole intention of streaming music in my house, I entered into that agreement when I bought all of my apple devices, if Apple doesn't re-Instate home sharing I will be returning ALLmy Apple products (10) at a cost to Apple exceeding $10k,

This smacks of pure unadulterated greed. There is no way I am going to pay to listen to music I already own. Home Sharing was my ONLY reason for switching to an iPhone. Next stop... switching back to a Samsung phone.
