Geez I just fixed the problem of having access to my large (and largely self-purchased, non-iTunes) library from my iPad using Home Sharing and now your iPad IOS 8.4 'upgrade) has taken that away? I spent hours getting to this solution. Give it back! Please! meh

Physical media music will soon be dead. You'll pay per listening session. You're already renting space in the cloud for the privilege. No more downloads for you .

Bring back home sharing for music. It's my legal music in my home network.

Apple relies on a faithful brand following who appreciates the friendly user interfaces. When you take away options (ie home sharing IOS 8.4) you alienate your ardent customers.

Updated to iOS 8.4 expecting only security updates, didn't read the fine print where Home Sharing was being removed. I use it all the time. Bring it back.

I'm very dismayed by the silent deletion in iOS 8.4 of a very important feature - Home Sharing for Music. I feel betrayed by Apple, and it took most of an evening of troubleshooting to even figure out what happened. Shame on you, Apple.

We use home sharing to iOS to play music we own. Play to iOS at pool, garage, patio. Not interested in paying more for streaming. We like the music we own.

Home sharing is a feature I used daily at home so I wouldn't have to sync my iPod all the time for work the next day. I listen to movies and audiobooks at my desk and music at home. We don't have a lot of money so my iPod doesn't hold much and this was a way for me to not have to spend extra time removing and resyncing my iPod all the time. All Apple is now is a greedy company and I refuse to pay extra for things I already paid for.

This feels very much below the belt, Apple. Like many of your recent actions. You can do better than this.

I loaded my Mac air pro with my African music which I like as I don't listen to other genre of music. Why then, force me to listen to something which doesn't appeal to me? I listen and stream my music privately at my own comfort. Apple you are dictators, bring the damn Home Sharig back so we can stream our music.

Please bring this back. I specifically purchased an apple tv for playing my library via homesharing on my phone. Now I am left with a $99 brick. Even worse, I convinced my dad to buy an Apple tv for the same reason, and now he's stuck with a useless device.
Boooh to Apple music. Bring back home sharing!
Unacceptable! Very upsetting!
Want it, need it!!
