ANYONE CAN BE A WOMAN ??

The right of men to bring about further oppression of women by assuming a female gender is insulting to women. Men cannot understand the conditioning that happens to girls and women or the obstacles they have faced to state they are a woman never mind the scientific factor of biological sex. It is the same as a white person identifying as black in my opinion it’s insulting and goes against women’s human rights!!

Don't adult human females

The only way a male human can be a woman is if 'woman' has ceased to refer to a material condition - that of being an adult human female - and instead refers to an abstract concept, one that could only be based on sexist notions of 'femininity' that should not be given ethical or legal weight. Abstract concepts cannot have rights.

I am saddened but not surprised. All academia in occidental countries have fallen prey to gender madness. Bring back some sanity to language. Otherwise, what is the point of communicating at all?

You are a woman if your chromosomes are XX. If your chromosomes are XY, you are a man.

What is the term used then for the sex that produces large, immobile gametes, gestates the young, and lactates? It's female. In deer, the female is a doe, in humans it's woman. Nothing extra needed because women can black, white, old, young, even be born with an intersex condition and still just is a woman. It's not a feeling and you have long road to prove innate gender feelings in persons who never experience life in the body of a female person, nor their life experiences. Only women give birth, only women menstruate, only women have to deal with that and try and build a career battling against men who still are not inclusive of them and their unique needs. Instead, just as women are making inroads they have to budge over for men claiming they are them and appropriate their struggles. Men of course are not so accommodating, so they get to carry on regardless and face no such redefinition. This problem of women not entering STEM is not changed by adding in males, in fact it will make it appreciably harder for women and girls to suceed.

Woman is not a feeling. There are only two sexes. Since the dawn of human kind and until the end, there will only be two sexes. Sex is expressed in every cell of the human body, immutable. You can dress and act however you want, but asking me to participate is just that a request. I will not play that game

I am a health professional in Australia. I am strongly concerned about the unintended consequences of the changes in the definition of "woman". In the UK, we have seen concerning cases, such as a woman specifically requesting a female practitioner to perform her papsmear, which is common practice. She declined to have the procedure done when the practitioner was a bearded transwoman. It also affects how medical information is produced and disseminated, such as brochures changed to implying women may need prostate checks. We have also seen concerning cases such as Karen White being placed in female prisons, and sexually assaulting women, or Jessica Yaniv using the self id legislation to target minority women, or Morgane Oger targeting a women's rape shelter. For a man to identify as a woman, to state that he thinks or feels like a woman, usually means he identifies with sexist stereotypes. Womanhood is not an identity. Women do not think in a shared, common way. We do not dress in a shared, common way. For a man to identify as a woman implies that womanhood is defined by femininity; if you are feminine, then you are a woman. This excludes most women who do not consider themselves femininine, or who have worked hard to combat sexist stereotypes of gender. I understand that kindness and compassion may have been the core value leading to this change, but this change does not consider what the consequences may be, nor has there been adequate research into the effects these changes have wrought internationally.

The transgender lobby selectively misuses feminist ideas, language and tactics against women. Sex is not a dirty word. It is vital to have clarity on who a woman is - a female born woman, scientifically categorised by genetics of the sex chromosomes. We need to be able to catalogue the oppression women are subjected to. Men masquerading as women make sex-based data collection a nonsense and undermines the small amount of progress women have won i our struggles. It is a delusion for a man to know how a woman feels in order to say he feel like a woman. The transgender movement is a male reaction to the power of the women's liberation movement- if they can't beat women, then they'll try to be a woman - and make us invisible . The transgender lobby has confused sex with gender, gender with sexuality, and promoted the harmful idea that one needs to remake one's body into something else because you don't want to conform to stereotypes of heterosexuality or of the sex you were born with. There's a better, safer way - reject gender stereotypes and compulsory heterosexuality. Explore and play and fight for your right to enjoy the body you were born withi and the sexuality you choose to express.

Humans are sexually dimorphic. Women only spaces should be preserved for females. The word woman, means an adult human female, not a male.

women and girls have a right to name our oppression and our oppressor. we have a right to female only spaces for our safety, privacy and dignity. if i ask for a female only doctor to perform a procedure on me, that should mean something - that category, female, should have meaning. this is not hate speech.

Everyone knows biological sex exists, but we're being forced to pretend it doesn't - so as not to lose jobs etc. Women are humans who should have full human rights to define themselves.

I have always believed in truth, no reason to stop now. This is all just a load of ideological crap and very dangerous for the rest of society.

Change.org attempted to shut us down for speaking the truth. Women will not be silenced. We are entitled to fight for our rights.
