Females have fought hard for their place in science and to be recognised for their achievements. How will the government measure the success of any campaigns to encourage females into STEM subjects if anyone can now identify as female?

you are trying to solve an equality problem the wrong way. if women can be anyone, then all your women scientists can be males who have enjoyed male privilege while growing up, only to claim a new identity when said identity improves their chances for grants, hirings, promotions, etc

When it comes to matters of equality and inclusion it becomes counterproductive when you remove the rights of another. In this case natural born women are not the same as trans women! Even with gender reassignment surgeries you can’t create reproductive organs of the opposite sex. Therefore from a biologically standpoint women need to be identified by their biology. A born man can never physically give birth to a child only a natural born women can. There needs to be clear definitions. Waters are becoming so murky with identification, that at this rate a human can identify as rabbit and therefore look at changing the definition of a friggin rabbit where one simply identifies as such. At what point does this become a ridiculous notion? Don’t get me wrong I am accepting of all but don’t take my right away as a natural born woman. Create your own friggin category eg. as a trans women that identifies themselves as a women with male organs.
