There is nothing "inclusive" in Alan Finkle's definition of a woman. As a woman-born woman, I find his definition of what it is to be a woman, utterly misguided, threatening, utterly inane and incorrect. He should be sacked from his position.

This redefining of what is a woman makes no sense. It has the potential to put back hard-earned sex-based rights for women and children. And where does it claim the same definition for men? Only a patriarchal society could think this is okay. Biology matters!!

While I support trans people, the self-id movement has become rife with abuse by sex predators, as is easily seen in normal news outlets. Until self-id finds a way to weed out such abuse, I cannot support it.

The male and female definition of biological sex is based on the presence or absence of the Y chromosome which cannot be changed. This is a scientific fact.
