The reimbursement is the lowest among the rest of insurance and required MNR, time consuming.

Do other medical providers get paid this low? This is criminal. Just as we are making it into the main stream light of medical care, this pulls the rug out from under us. We deserve more than $41 a treatment. Which only $26 is paid by the insurance.

I can not afford to treat my patients who have ASH insurance. It is a hardship and dis-service to all.

Acupuncture has really helped me, but I have to keep getting authorization every five visits. My pain level is getting better, but this takes time. The pills aren’t working, but acupuncture is immediate relief. Ask patients, don’t leave it to insurance companies.

$16 per hour pay for Acupuncture service is unreasonably low, which will damage the health industry and patience benefits

Pathetic! A disgrace to the health organization

They also require orthopedic testing and valuation which is not in our scope of practice. Also a conflict of interest by having people who work for them decide whether or not someone gets to continue getting treatment.

These services have been a Godsend...no use of painkillers...most effective pain management, in my view.

ASH represents one of the worst parts of capitalism. I will never join their network and I hope others refuse as well.

I discontinued my relationship with ASH because of the low compensation, the time and expense accrued to submit billing was too much for me and the high cost of living. There is only one of me and I must make a certain amount per patient in order to not only survive, but also so I don't completely drain my energy working on patients. I get calls all the time still from ASH patients needing my help, and I feel terrible turning them away.
