Improving Diversity and Addressing Racism & Biases in BCSC

Im trying my self to have a conversation with someone about how they did my son also.

As a parent of a student who transferred into Brownsburg from a prior district that worked nonstop to cultivate and maintain an atmosphere of cultural diversity, equity, representation, inclusion, and anti-racist policies and curriculum, I strongly support this petition. This is critical work that must be done in Brownsburg. Take action, BCSC.

Diversity and inclusion are long overdue in Brownsburg and the school corporation--let's do better and embrace change.

All children need to be aware of all life matters in the world today. All matters!

This is an extremely important issue in order for children and families in this community. I previously served as the In-Schopl- Suspension Supet lvisor at BHS 2008 -2010. I have never had any children in Brownsvurg Comnunity Schools.

This is extremely important for the future of this district

We can do better!

While I do not live in the Brownsburg School system, I feel this is an important step for a better and more just future of both Brownsburg and all of Hendricks County.

As a retired teacher in Washington Township, I am concerned that the diversity my biracial granddaughter experienced there, is lacking in the Brownsburg School System she now attends.

We need to embrace these changes so our community can be a safe and welcoming place for all.

The world is diverse. This should be demonstrated in schools. This will bring a great experience to our students.

Look in the mirror- what you see is what God knows. Don’t lie to yourself

While I do not live in Brownsburg, I attended the protest. I don't think I'll ever forget what the students had to say. It made me feel physically ill. No child should be treated as they described and no school should ever allow it.

I took my son out of Brownsburg middle school after his seventh grade year due to the racism. Changes need to be made.
