As a community becomes more diverse, so should the curriculum of it's schools. Every history class should include the accomplishments of all American. Children should not be concerned with racism or prejudices, they should have friends based on commonalities and not complexion

I support this 100%! My daughters attend BHS and are witness to a lot of racial comments from students to other students. It’s almost a daily conversation at home. My daughters are white, but we are not tolerant of racist language or actions and they should not have to be in an environment where this is the norm. Not to mention if it affects my girls this way, I can’t even comprehend the pain of the recipients of the horrid language I hear about on a nearly daily basis. We enthusiastically sign this petition and are prepared to help in any way we possibly can.

As a trusting learning institution Brownsburg highschool has the ultimate responsibility to ensure that all children of color have the best learning experience possible. Bias training is critically important and should be introduced immediately!

I'm afraid we're going to have to sue the school district to get them to change.

Already spoke to superintendent that this needed to happen at the end of the school year in regards to the racist picture that had gone viral

As a graduate of BHS, addressing issues of racism and discrimination in the town of Brownsburg is long over due.

I am not a brownsburg resident, but I sign for my sister, who has experienced the brownsburg school system. As a new teacher venturing out into the world, these types of task forces are needed in every school. I love to see this petition!!

I strongly support this petition, as the parent of a rising senior at BHS. All students should receive the same opportunities mine has, and the only way to ensure this is by specifically improving diversity initiatives and supporting students of color.
