I am doing a government project over plastic bags. You would help me out greatly if you signed my petition. Over 100,000 animals die annually from suffocation and entanglement, including millions of fish and birds. I would like to try and stop this by proposing a bill that states: The daily consumer of grocery bags would have to pay a 4 cent deposit per plastic bag. However, if you brought your plastic bags back to the store you could receive 2 cents back per bag. The other 2 cents would go towards research and development. This should help to decrease the amount of plastic bags in our environment, in our landfills, and the amount of animals that die each year.
