I am not happy with this regulatory measure. I feel it supports big pharmaceutical companies and not the citizens that you supposedly look after. I do not want this restriction put in place.

As a practicing nutritionist I am appalled at this new regulatory measure! Everyone MUST speak up so we can be in control of our health naturally.

I want to be able to manage my own health, be responsible for my illnesses! Let me have access to good healthcare that assists me to prevent my body becoming I'll. We all need different amounts of micronutrients for various reasons so let me have access to blood tests for these and access to supplements without interference. Smokers are allowed to smoke why should I be denied a choice of vitamin and mineral food supplements of my choice for my body.

The fall out from this piece of legislation if passed is terrifying to me as a doctor who specialises in nutritional and environmental medicine and who sees on a daily basis the need for higher levels of supplements to reverse illnesses and to restore people's health. It will inevitably result in removing the only way for the body to normalise itself as there are few nutrients left in foods now due to artificial fertilisers and due to our ever increasing needs due to higher levels of pollutants in our bodies (as we need more nutrients to dispose of the toxic polluting chemicals we are exposed to). The 'science' used in the calculations of these 'safe' levels was completely flawed as they failed to even consider using years of scientific research which indicated our new higher need for nutrients due to the modern polluted and nutrient defecient environment we live in. It will result in the downfall of people health and ever increasing misery for current and future generations as good nutrition is the rockstone of good health. Pharmaceuticals only tweak symptoms but nutrients enable the body to fix itself. Without access to the levels of nutrients we now need, as the levels of nutrients in foods are a fraction of what they once were, we are doomed to poor health, increased obesity, cancer, heart disease, allergies, stress, sleeping problems, gut problems actually all the 21st centry illnesses which now afflict people.

This is a flagrant violation of our human right to make use of the natural substances that exist in the world in which we were born into and which we are a part of. It must not be allowed to happen!

Why doesn't the government ban aspartame and artificial sweeteners. Instead of wasting money on toxic treatments like chemotherapy and radiotherapy, why won't cancer research help to rid our shelves of artificial sweeteners and chemical additives in our food and drink. Cancer and alzheimers will continue to flourish whilst we are ingesting cancer causing substances on a daily basis. when are people going to do something about their health and that of their children.

Only 1 person has ever died from taking natural treatments.So what is the purpose of all this process of minimising natural input. Is all this EU effort to prevent a second death?
