The registry has officially confirmed that the new documentation standards will be adopted to accept Thoroughbred pedigrees. I honestly never imagined we would get here, but your persistence forced this change that seemed so far out of reach. Please keep an eye on the official portal to ensure the transition …

If the Thoroughbred dam or sire has a documented full Thoroughbred pedigree, said documentation shall be accepted in order to register an Anglo-Arabian foal, so long as all other registration criteria are met.

Possible documents acceptable are:

1) Notarized Breeder's Certificate with copy of Sire and Dam Registration Certificates

2) Copy of Jockey Club Registration Certificate (including foreign Thoroughbred registries recognized by The Jockey Club).

3) DNA results confirming parentage

I honestly never thought this many people would care about registration paperwork. Seeing one hundred names on this list is entirely due to your dedication to our breed and not anything I did alone.

Just let us use the Jockey Club papers. It would save everyone so much time and money.
