Removing mailboxes because the volume of mail has dropped = a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Also just how CAN one reach a U.S.P.S. human with some authority?
I suggest people contact their U.S. Senators’ and Representatives offices for assistance with federal matters. They actually really DO help!

It's unbelievable that this should take so long. People want to like the Postal Service, but problems like this make it very difficult at times.
