Retired Clark Women’s Basketball Coach Patricia Glispin stated: “Oh yes. Andrea should definitely be in consideration for the Hall of Fame. She was so significant to our team during her time. She made a huge impact helping the team win a lot of games and for the school as an Academic All-American.”
Consider the following for context:
- Coach Glispin led the team for 38 seasons, including 17 postseason appearances (8 NCAA and 9 ECAC), including 13 consecutive (6 NCAA and 7 ECAC) from 1987-88 through 1999-2000.
- The stretch of two or more NCAA Tournament appearances in a four-year span was achieved by just seven of Coach Glispin’s teams, including 1991-92 and 1994-95.
- Clark’s all-time record book shows 346 student-athletes as having participated in Women’s Basketball. There are currently 74 individuals in the Clark Athletics Hall of Fame, just 28 of them are recognized for having played two or more sports. Of the 74 inductees, 13 competed in Women’s Basketball.
- Clark competed as an independent until joining the Constitution Athletic Conference (a precursor to the NEWMAC when combined with the former NEW8), therefore league honors and accolades are non-existent.
Andrea is married to Tony Proctor. They are the parents of Sienna, Harrison, and Bennett Proctor, and reside in South Natick, MA.
Having met the significant criteria set forth above and in other intangible ways, we the undersigned fully endorse the nomination of Andrea M. (née Greenlee) Proctor for induction into the Clark University Athletics Hall of Fame for the Class of 2024.
