THE CROP ACRES ON A FARM ARE NO DIFFERENT THAN THE SQUARE FOOTAGE OF YOUR HOME AND THAT INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE ON LINE FROM THE COUNTY ASSESSOR. THIS IS JUST A STUPID GOVERNMENT RULE.
BRADLEY R BRIDGES
This information is holds no value to the growers and should be released. Red tape like this is what keeps USA behind the World in Ag. We have to be able to share this info to be more efficient and compete against low wages and regulations in the rest of the world. Please Help!

This information (and more) is available to anyone through local assessors, but must be modified for use in the appraisal process. Modifying the information by hand is time consuming and increases costs/fees, which is passed on to the client. It's common sense to make this already public data available to large data companies that can process it and make it available to everyone at a reasonable cost. It's what the information age is all about.
Tim Reierson
Making this information available saves everyone time and money. If the owner must request it, it takes time away from them and from staff at FSA.
Brenda Hoffman
we need this information on the maps

These records are kept by tax payer dollars. If a farmer does not want the information available quit taking the government check. If you want good reports I must have this information other than mapquest

By removing CLU data from the public, it has made the agricultural real estate appraisers job more difficult by not being able to obtain accurate data for use in land appraisals. This in turn could provide inaccurate appraisals to lenders, attorneys, farmers, and absentee landowners since the appraiser is not allowed to obtain the most up-to-date information on the subject property or possible sales that we use to compare to the subject.

I am a real estate appraiser. It is troubling to held to the highest professional standards by one government entity while being handcuffed by another. Please allow the CLU data to be used for our appraisal tasks. Thank you for your consideration.
