Agree with more cameras, take one from the A17 at Cranwell, there's three within a two mile stretch. Need to reduce traffic speed, no need to wait for a fatal accident!!

In addition to this we need proper pelican crossing in at least 3 different section. People drive so fast along this road it's an accident waiting to happen.

I live just past the bridge in st martins getting out of here for work in the morning i witness cars approaching the bridge ( prior to temp traffic lights being up) in excess of 50-60 miles an hour and some break at the bridge and some don't , that someone has to be killed to achieve the speed restrictions is a shameful statement by our council.

We live in the village and our children attend the school, cars, lorry, trucks or tractors thunder down the road with no care for the speed limit. It will not be long before a serious accident happens.

It's the non residents of the village using it as a cut through that speed, if it was their village I'm sure they wouldn't, it would be better if it wasn't used as a cut through!! this is our village where our children go to school they should have more respect!

Not sure about speed humps but definitely needs some traffic calming measures through the main thoroughfare in the village.

PLEASE sign even if you don't live in the village. The speeding traffic problem is getting worse and now the added problem of not only having huge lorries speeding through our village as a short cut but they are now regularly striking the railway bridge as they're too high. We lost our beloved cat last week by a speeding driver who didn't even stop so it could be a child next!! Please SIGN & SHARE!!!

While the beautiful wide High Street was useful for herding flocks of geese and herds of cattle en route to market, it needs some obstacles to impede the too-fast speed of modern and often heavy vehicles. Look at Dutch street design in small towns. They narrow the roads with plantings and trees, different surfaces to calm traffic, and leave parking along the sides. It is pretty and much safer for children and cyclists, yet wide enough for at least one vehicle at a time.
