This has always been an issue in the village, even whilst I was growing up there and the limit was reduced from 40 to 30 but this doesn't seem to have made a huge difference.

this needs sorting. Why should we pay with the price of a child before they'll listen. My sons scooter fell in road the other week. Thankfully not my son, as he stayed on pavement, but to the car coming didn't notice and it took me stepping out in front of her and shouting for her to notice. If that had been my son I hate to think what could have happened. It is not good enough to wait until someone is hurt.
