Every student deserves the to connect with the McGill community. Students who live in Rez are constantly immersed in all that the university has to offer them. For those first year students who live off-campus it can be much harder to find a place in the vibrant student life here at McGill. The Off Campus Fellows program serves those who may need a helping hand to discover all the fantastic possibilities this school can open for them outside of the classroom.

Co-running the Off Campus Fellow Program in 2012-2013 was such an amazing opportunity for me. I got to see how important the program was for first year students and the support it provides cannot be understated. I hope that McGIll administration recognizes the value of the program and ensures it for the years to come!

OFC program is probably x10 times more useful than all of the other housing program united: other kids live together, it's fun to organize activity, but their social well-being is not at risk. International Kids coming and living independently because McGill housing is way to expensive on the other hand DO need that little social push.

OCF is great! As a first year living off campus it was a great way to get to know people.

OCF is a great way for transfer students who are not living on rez to get to know people and make friends. Montreal can be very cold and hard to pass through but these events make it worthwhile!

If it wasn't for OCF the first few weeks of the year would have been hell; this has to stay open

Living off-campus as a first year student can be incredibly lonely without the proximity and planned activities of residence. This program is incredibly helpful! It helps off-campus students meet new people and feel connected to the university.

it is a great way for people who do not live in rez to meet new people and make friends... it's not always easy to do so within the university, so keep funding this program please!

OCF helped me a lot when I came to McGill for the first time, I can only hope that it will continue to do so for the new students for years to come!
