The OCF program has been incredibly instrumental in the formation of many of my friendships this year. Having missed the residence deadline, I thought right away that it would be a struggle to meet people. Thankfully, with the presence of this program, I was wrong. From day one at Off Campus Fest to now, I can proudly say that the program as well as the people I have met through it have made my first year university experience so wonderful. I only hope that it can continue so that future first year off campus students can have the same opportunity.

As a Rez Life facilitator I understand how important it is for first years to have support in their transition to McGill, and getting rid of this program is a real detriment to next year's student body. The Off Campus Fellows have been incredible this year, and such an amazing resource needs to be maintained.

Over the past year, I've seen just how powerful OCF can be in helping first years integrate into the university. This program is an important resource for first years and off campus students. To discontinue it would be a great loss to the university.

It's difficult enough for off campus students to feel integrated. Please continue this program!

As a former off-campus student, I would just like to voice that without the OC program, I would not have been successful in making the contacts and being integrated into the University system as thoroughly and as well informed as I was. I am hopeful that this blatant attack on the social well being of student living outside of the residence system is ameliorated. Thank You.

Ocf is an amazing committee that works to integrate those who are off campus and may not find it as easy to get involved with school, and I think it is just as important as any of the Rez committees, please allow for the program to continue into the future .

This program really helped me integrate into the Montreal community! Coming from a small town to a huge city was stressful and they really were there for me <3 OCF <3

Having attended quite a few OCF events this year, I can confidently say that this program is such an important and efficient resource and community for those students living out of residences. It would be a huge mistake to discontinue the OCF program!

i attended most of the events of McGill OCF program this year and i can confidently say i never felt at home as much as i did with the OCF people. The events were amazing as well as engaging, and i enjoyed them a lot. I strongly support the renewal of OCF for next year and years to come.

As a current Off Campus Fellow I know this program has positively effected many students at McGill this year. Furthermore, as a student who lived off campus in his first year I know how difficult it can be to adapt to a new school and city. This program has helped many students make friends and establish a social life that is essential for surviving university.

Having been an Off Campus Fellow this year, I have seen first-hand the difference this program makes in the lives of students, and feel very strongly that this program must continue (if not expand) for years to come!

There are social support systems in place for students fortunate enough to be able to live on campus--namely the Rez fellows. Off campus students should not be considered "second class" and so should have he same rights/ support. If funding is the problem, a nominal fee of $1-$2.00 would cover the costs of this very cost effective yet worthwhile program.
