In light of recent events regarding Lauren Reynaldo's ban from all coordinator-only events, I feel like I need to take a stand and speak up against the proponents of Music Industry Classism.

Lauren Reynaldo is a stalwart veteran of the Music Industry in LA, and I don't see why a simple change in job title should exclude her from enjoying the company of all of her friends and colleagues in the industry. Do you honestly no longer see Lauren as a fellow colleague and warrior in the ongoing battle for the final pennies of a dying industry? A mere change in job title is almost entirely meaningless.

What does it even mean to be a Creative Manager vs. a Coordinator? I thought we had long moved past putting such emphasis on these petty classifications. In today's modern world a Coordinator could be creative and a Creative Manager could be doing some coordination. It's only a name!

I'm calling for an end to this blanket hatred and isolation of those of a different job title than yourself. It is time that we all come together, hold hands, and bowl a strike down the bowling lane of life.

Who's with me?! Sign this petition to show your support for an end to Music Industry Classism and an equal opportunity fun-time event group.

You won't regret it.
