As a women's historian, I have long been a supporter of this (future) museum, but have also been concerned about what seems to be a somewhat dated (for example: "great woman") approach to the field of women's history.

It seems unnecessary to comment, but a museum dedicated to women's history should have historians of women and gender on the board

While it is nice to see so many women actors in the forefront, it is disconserting not to see that many women who are historians in a similar position and not merely as advisors

All historical museums should consult with working historians and museum professionals. I can't imagine a single serious reason for excluding people who know the subject.
