Please approve the use of and provide an allowance for safety items such as vests. Whatever it takes to keep everyone safe and able to go home at the end of their shift! Thank you.

My son is an EMT and I pray for his safety and protection daily. Every call has the potential to be dangerous. This is just one more step in protecting our first responders.

If they want to wear it then let them wear it! If I wanted to I would and my employer wouldn't say a damn thing about it! Stop trying to be controlling! Don't even say it interferes with there job either- police wear it!!!

First responders of all types are asked to go into basically any and every situation in order to save and protect lives. It doesn't make much sense that only police are allowed to protect themselves with body armor when the paramedics and firefighters show up to many of the same dangerous locations. Please, allow them to protect themselves while they're out protecting everyone else.
