My daughter is an EMT with AMR and I would prefer her to be safe on the job! They take care of us, you take care of them.

As former 20 year street medic a lot of things have changed. It used to be we would wait until police arrived before we went into a scene. But now society has changed and thinks it's ok not only to assault health care workers, but to kill them as well. You need some sort of protection short of carrying a gun. Some medics I would trust with a gun, others not so much. Stay safe my friends.

EMS responders need protection too! I work in law enforcement and I am amazed that EMS personal don't have vest already who knows what could happen when you enter a meth den at 3 AM! I support our brothers and sister in the EMS field! Someone owes them they're life why not help them out and make sure they are safe while at work. Everyone deserves to go home at the end of the day!!!

I work in an ER and have tremendous respect for our first responders. I would hate to be trapped in a box with some of the patients they have to transport in their line of duty. Keep them safe!!!!

It is very important that our first responders feel safe and have all the needed protection in order to complete jobs in a dangerous setting with the proper PPE!!!
