This is just Smart to protect your employees this way. Throwing them in a lion's den with no police training is hard enough but just trying to protect yourself for whomever you come in contact with in a bad scenario is just smart. Security gards and cops look alike but still have very different jobs. They dont want to impersonate a officer just protect them selves the best way they know how at there own expense if necessary. Let them.

This is a obvious solution to an obvious problem. Put a huge EMS cross on it if you wont want it to look like a police officer vest.

As a Iraq war veteran I've seen our medic get singled out plenty of times. This brave souls are going into uncertain situations and deserve some semblance of protection.
