I didn't know it was missing, remember I only come back to Amherst, about every (30years)

growing up in amherst, ohio, was a great experience. the sign should be returned to it's original place at 5 points. it is as much a part of amherst as the old spring and downtown.

Mayor Taylor I think you have lost your marbles, put the Amherst sign back up. Do not go to retirement as a one man band.

Since many of our families worked in those very quarries for over twenty years of their lives , it is only right to leave that heritage for our children and their children who will eventually themselves grow up to realize that heritage really does have a meaning to all of us. The Sign was the one thing that separated " Amherst, The Sandstone Center of The World" from the rest of the small cities.

Growing up in Amherst and with parents and other relatives still living there, the sign is an important part of it's small town feel. It's so much better looking than some of the ugly billboards seen around town.

Ridiculous that they took it down in the first place. Amherst just doesnt look the same driving through without it. Put it back already.

PLEASE put our sign back where it belongs. Why not??
