The postal service confirmed today that the POW/MIA stamp is officially going into production. It has been an exhausting road to get here but finally seeing this honor recognized makes the struggle worth it. Keep your eyes open for the release and remember that we accomplished this together.

Final supporters
While honored in words, the plight of America's POW/MIA's from all our wars and the suffering of their families arefor the most part ignored. There is a Flag that is very seldom flown. A National holiday only celebrated by a few and the meaning, and history is understood by VERY FEW.
With deep thought and conviction we request that you makea POW/MIA Forever Stamp to followthe Liberty Bell and Purple Heart Stamps. While the Liberty Bell signifies our independence and the Purple Heart signifiesthe human sacrifice associated with this independence the POW/MIA Forever Stamp is a tribute to the ones we left behind and are still suffering for our freedom.Let us not forget them and all that they have done to ensure out freedom as American citizens.
Hopefully we can raise the Nations Consiousness as to the plight of these heroes bymakingthis stampa reality.

The climb has been exhausting but we have to push harder to hit that thousand mark. I am tired of seeing their sacrifice overlooked and I know you are too. If we can reach this milestone today we might finally be taken seriously by the people in charge.

I have alot of family that have given. Not all of them have died fighting, but they all gave so much.
i AM A NAM VET 1OTH ENGR BTLN 3RD INF DIV. I SIGNED ON FOR SA SPECIAL OPPS IN NAM. ILL AWAWYS REMEMBER MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN ARMS,BOUT MOST OF ALL THE REAL REASON WHERE FREE BECOUSE OF ALL THAT GAVE ALL THERE LIFES FOR OUR FREEDOM MAY GOD BLESS THEM ALL AND ALL THAT SERVE, SORRY ABOUT SPELLING HAD TO LEAVE HIGH SCHOOL I WAS IN DRAFT NO LOW SO INLISTED , WOULD DO IT ALL OVER AGINE GOD BLESS OUR VETS AND NEVER LET US EVER FOGET

It shouldn't need a petition,,, on top of that, why are items being imported from Viet Nam when many American Service personnel are still unaccounted for in that country?

I feel very strongly that this is an important issue and one that needs to happen to honor our veterans.
